LIFE LATELY: JUNE
NO GLOOM HERE…
Lately, I’ve been thinking about how fast time moves when you’re building something you love. July has arrived with our first birthday, full calendars, warm evenings, and a quiet nudge to pause and take it all in. These look-back posts have become my favorite way to mark time—to celebrate the momentum and the meaning layered into the everyday. Let’s chat all things June!
Last month was full of movement, both literal and creative. I wrapped up a handful of project visits from coast to coast that left me energized and inspired—there’s something about being on-site that reignites my vision in a way nothing else does. We are installing our Willamette project next month and you can see progress of our San Luis Obispo BTS here! We also signed a dreamy project in 30A, Rosemary Beach, FL that I’ve been manifesting quietly for months. And lots of potentials in Southern California…More on that soon, but for now, I’m savoring the excitement.
I also carved out time for a little personal reset and cleaned out my closet (and garage) for a local yard sale! It was so sweet to meet so many of you…especially the ladies who traveled hours to be there! A long weekend away with my family gave me the space to think, recharge, and sketch out a few ideas that had been sitting in the back of my mind. Sometimes, stepping away is exactly what the work needs. Curious about balancing motherhood and business? See our conversation surrounding sustainability and everyday living with Lucia Zolea!
Behind the scenes, the studio has been buzzing. We’re knee-deep in conceptualizing 2026 collaborations and wrapping up a few favorite partnerships. The energy in the air feels like the start of something, even if I can’t quite put it into words yet.
A few other moments that made me extra proud: an impromptu dinner party in LA to celebrate our one year MKS anniversary, vintage scores for something special, MKS was featured in the Young Visionaries book and lots of long afternoons spent at Soccer games cheering on my girls.
Here’s to catching our breath, following the sparks, and embracing the quiet wins.
